What are you looking forward to as a new addition to AKFMR? I am passionate about teaching and graduate medical education. I hope to inspire and help grow our residents into the dynamic, caring and experienced doctors we all need and want them to be. More specifically, with my osteopathic/manual medicine training and experience, I hope to pass on to our residents all the training and knowledge in osteopathic manual treatment I received from my mentors.
How did you end up in Alaska? Coming to Alaska has always been a dream. I just never thought I would get to do it this soon! When my wife and I visited in 2021, we were taken by the beauty and wildness of this place. I have felt called to work with underserved, marginalized and migrant populations, as well as be involved in medical education. Working at AKFMR offers such an amazing opportunity to live out what I was made to do!
