Alexander Kubacki, MD
Hi! I grew up in Seattle, Washington around the city and learning to mountaineer. I went to the university of Vermont for my undergraduate degree in English while also studying Spanish and plant biology. I put my English skills to work as an English teacher in South Korea. After traveling extensively, I came back to the United States and begin pursuing a career in medicine in Bozeman Montana has a post-baccalaureate and master’s in health sciences student at Montana State University. This led me back to the University Vermont for medical school, where my interest in rural medicine grew from working as an EMT in Montana to helping to design a mobile healthcare truck.
Alaska and the residency felt like a natural fit with its focus on rural medicine and preparing you to be a doctor that can handle anything; something I aspire to be. Plus, I thought living in Alaska would be very cool.
My other interests in medicine includes systems and novel technology design as well as providing underserved populations.
Outside of the clinic and hospital, I enjoy rock climbing, fishing, pretending to surf and all things Science Fiction.
