Hey! I am from Fort Smith, Arkansas. I went to college at the University of Arkansas – Woo Pig – where I studied Biology. After college, I still had no clue what I wanted to be when I grew up, but being an avid hiker, I decided to move to and explore the Last Frontier. I lived in Anchorage and worked as a patient transporter at Providence Hospital where my desire to be a physician grew. After a year, I decided to return to Arkansas to earn my degree at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Every day the call of Alaska grew louder and I was blessed with the opportunity to return for residency. I made my second move out of the lower 48, but this time with my amazing wife, Logan, and our beautiful daughter, Daivee. Outside of medicine, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, basketball, and carpentry.
