RobinUniversity of Illinois College of Medicine

Robin is a native of Chicagoland and a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, with the heart of an outdoorsman. Her formative undergraduate education was at Oberlin College, where she learned to live the hippie dream. It was during one of these summers that she first visited Alaska, spending 2 months in the backcountry. After studying abroad and living in Ecuador, she decided that medicine was her foremost interest. Her special interests within medicine include Women’s Health and Reproductive Health, as well as Refugee Health. She loves cycling, and spent her final two months of medical school biking along the California coast. After four years of struggling to find worthwhile opportunities for hiking, backpacking, and snowshoeing in the Chicago area, she is thrilled to be in in the heart of the great Alaskan outdoors!
