University of Washington School of Medicine
Rachel Samuelson was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and studied international relations in undergrad at Williams College. After a couple of years of “self exploration” via volunteering in Brazil, coaching skiing, working summer camps, political campaigning and teaching creative writing, she finally settled down and went to the University of Washington for medical school. She has a passion for preventative medicine, underserved populations and full spectrum family medicine, and hopes to practice one day in a small(ish) Alaska town. She loves her husband, hosting dinner parties, reading, travel, all types of skiing, hiking, biking, and generally being outside with cool people.
