Ren was born in Peru, grew up in Paraguay, and moved to the U.S. at the age of 20. He attended the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and obtained his doctorate in osteopathic medicine (DO) in 2012. He completed his residency training at the Alaska Family Medicine Residency (AKFMR) in 2015. He has joined AKFMR as a junior faculty member focusing primarily on outpatient medicine. He is passionate about teaching, preventative medicine, and osteopathic manipulative medicine. He thoroughly enjoys working with his Spanish-speaking patients and having such a diverse patient population.
