Katie received her DO from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2012, taking an additional year to complete an Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine fellowship. She recently completed her residency training at the Alaska Family Medicine Residency June of 2015 and is now on staff as the 4th year chief resident. She is looking forward to developing her precepting skills and implementing a resident wellness curriculum. She plans to move to Kansas City with her husband at the end of the chief year to be closer to family.
