After 12 years as a nurse, Amy Hoger returned to college for Physician Assistant training through the University of Washington’s MEDEX program. She completed her undergraduate degree at Boise State University. Since graduating in 2003 she has had a wide range of experience, caring for a diverse multicultural population of patients of all ages. Amy moved to Alaska several years ago from Michigan. She worked in Fairbanks for a couple years before joining the faculty at AKFMR last year. Amy enjoys hiking, biking and dog walking on all the wonderful local trails here in Anchorage and looks forward to continuing to explore this beautiful state.
